March journal “unboxing”

This is the “unboxing” of the February mailer with the March journal, “To the churches in Revelation”!

What if God sent a letter directly to the church today? Moreover, what if he sent something specifically to those where the church meets in your city?

Some of us already know what he might say. He might encourage us on the things we’re doing right in Him and then reprimand us on the things we need to work on. But it likely has nothing to do with programs, with exact contribution amounts, or with the number of people who showed up last Sunday.

It’s about our heart and purpose.

These are the basic questions: are we remaining faithful and are we sharing the importance of that with others, reflecting the love and truth of Christ? In Revelation, there are seven churches that God speaks to directly and they get to hear what Jesus has to tell them.

And thankfully, through God’s imperishable Word, we are able to hear it, too, and think of what that means for us, the church today. So let’s look at the first three chapters of Revelation: to the church...

This is what our everseeking subscribers are studying in March 2026! So let’s take a closer look at everything in the study and the mailer…

The journal

The church is beautiful. It is the redeemed, not because of any merits of our own, but because of the One whose blood covers us.

It’s not a social construct that will come and go or a building that will surely be destroyed over time.

We are God’s people, separated by time but united in Christ.

These verses in Revelation are specific, both in the timeframe they were written in and to the certain gathered Christians (the church) in the different cities.

But what Jesus tells them then isn’t any less important now.

Main study pages in “Joyful endings in Psalms”

In fact, after reading through them, we could almost exchange the names of the cities with some here today.

The goal is simple (yet challenging to complete): stay faithful. It’s the directive from Christ himself. The stage is set in chapter one and we get a definite picture of the authority and compassion of the One talking.

And then each church is reminded that 1) these are the words of him who is and has done all of these things for us and 2) to him who conquers, God has promised incredible things.

Our Savior retains the same rights to tell us what we should and shouldn’t do. And he holds the same unconditional love for us that gives meaning to our lives.

We listen attentively, with his love reflected in our eyes, as we know with all of our hearts that we want to conquer the challenges of this world together as the church – and go Home to Him who loves us.

Journaling through a main study page in “Joyful endings in Psalms”

The book of Revelation can be a hard one to understand. But there are so many beautiful parts of it we don’t want to miss – and one of them is the first 3 chapters, when Jesus talks to the church!

The first 4 days, we’ll look at chapter 1 and see how the stage is set: who is talking along with the powerful description of him and where these churches were.

Then we’ll look at what is said to each church over a two-day spread. On each top left page is “the words of him” that matches what’s said in chapter 1 and on the bottom corner of each right page is “to him who conquers” that is also said in each section. We’ll answer questions while thinking through Scripture and take notes as we see things that stand out to us!

Then the last two pages will tie everything up as we look at the big picture!

Optional study pages in “Joyful endings in Psalms”

Studying through this takes us through the main 20 days of study. As in every everseeking journal, the “main study” can be done in 20 days because we all have those moments where we get behind, so this gives a little room.

But if you’re studying every day and get to day 20 and you still have 10 more days in the month, there are 10 extra pages of the journal (called “optional pages”) that take a deeper look at what we already studied.

In this journal… Quite a few times, Jesus tells more than one church something or he makes note of something that is rather important. So we’re using the optional pages to look through each of these more carefully – the left pages with something that’s a struggle and the right pages with the answer to how to live for Christ!

So whether you complete the main study with the 20 pages or the main 20 + the optional 10, you have succeeded in spending the month studying the Word of God!

The washi tape

As always, every everseeking journal comes with it’s set of washi tape: solid and patterned!

This month’s washi tape matches the teal theme this month and a similar solid color washi tape! We use these for highlighting certain thoughts, creating tabs throughout the journal, decorating, adding extra notes (scrapbooking style), color coding, and more! For more details, check out our “How to use washi tape for Bible journaling” blog at https://www.evergreencypress.com/blog/how-to-use-washi-tape-for-bible-journaling.

Verse stickers

Added to our March journal is a set of verse stickers! Each sticker is a different reminder from Scripture to add to the journal or around where it can be seen in every day life!

Encouragement coaster set

And our last extra was a pair of encouragement coasters! We love bringing encouragement into our time with God. For those of us who love sitting in our own cozy spot for Bible study with our drink — hot or cold — and mull over the words of God, these coasters add another layer of reminder that God’s Word refreshes more than anything else ever could!

Homeschool edition

We also have everseeking for homeschool!

The homeschool edition sends out the same journal of the month for the girl to study through. With the 20 days of the main study, she gets to also go through one page a day for each weekday for the 4 weeks of the month.

The difference with the homeschool edition is that instead of the extras, the girl receives three pages…

  1. Pacing guide: this takes the 20 days and schedules them in the specific month of study (in this case, March 2026). Here, she can check off each day as she completes it.

  2. Discussion questions: after the girl has completed her study page for the day, there is an extra discussion question that matches (for example, discussion question number 4 goes with day 04 of the study). This is intended to help the girl explain what she has studied and for the teacher and girl to further discuss what the study of God’s Word means in her life.

  3. Knowing Scripture/ end-of-month / encouragement: every month, the knowing Scripture section remains the same, but reminds the girl to keep a part of the study deep on her heart. She selects her theme verse for the study and writes it on the pacing guide to look at daily and then talk about it with the teacher throughout the month. The end of month section has an activity or assignment that helps the girl think through the study as a whole from a specific perspective as a review. And finally, the encouragement is for the teacher, to bolster her as she guides the girl in her care in God’s Word — making an eternal difference in her life!

And that’s a wrap!
