It’s a journey.
Everyone loves a good journey. There is the excitement of adventure but there is also preparation for the challenges that are sure to come.
One thing we know we need is light along our path to help us move forward. That light is the radiance of God’s Truth— the Bible (Psalm 119:105). And this journey is incredible!
We find ourselves constantly in different stages of the journey as we learn and grow into who God created us to be. Though no one’s journey is exactly the same, we all strive to know the Truth and to know God.
The path and the destination of this incredible journey are the same.
To find ourselves at Home with God.
There’s always been something special about the Bible.
I grew up knowing the Bible. I learned its stories as a child, its importance as a grade-school kid, and its truth as a teen. And that’s when it became personal.
The difference the Bible made in the lives of those around me was obvious. And I wanted to know how it could make a difference in mine.
So that’s when I took more time to study the Bible, and it meant everything to me. The words in it consistently told the same bigger story and the details found in one part of the Bible matched the details found in another part.
It is so beautiful! And, when it’s lived out, it makes life beautiful.
There are still days I forget to read the Bible and there are seasons when it’s harder to be diligent than others. But I do know that when I don’t read the Bible, I miss it.
Because knowing the Bible means knowing God.
And knowing God means everything to me. And I pray it does to you, too.

To keep us on track and accountable, you will receive a new set of weekly planner/journal page downloads every month. Every week, it will allow you to:
- look back on the past week
- honestly answer a journaling prompt that helps us reflect and focus
- plan for the week to come
Library of Bible study videos.
In the LIGHT membership, you have access to videos that go through the book of the Bible that is currently being studied (following along with the newest journal released). The videos are simply to look together at what the Bible says and how we can live it in our daily lives. All of the videos that have been released with previous LIGHT Bible studies remain in the library for you at any time!
Monthly lives.
We will take time once a month for us to look back on the month to see how we’ve come on our journey and what we can practically change to know God more. This time is for you:
- to encourage you that you’re not alone in truly seeking Truth
- to keep accountability to stay in the Word consistently
- to answer questions from any of the books we’re studying in the Bible

FAQs
What is the current journal?
We are finishing up the book of Luke and the next journal is about to be announced soon (so keep your eyes peeled!). In the membership, this means all video content will be available for the study of Ephesians and Luke.
How long are the Bible study videos?
There is a video for each spread of a journal— this means there are several videos, but they are generally no longer than 5 minutes (and sometimes only a couple of minutes long). They are bite-size :) so you can take it a little at a time or learn with several at a time!
How often are there new Bible study videos in the library?
There are new videos added little by little for the current journal every month and sometimes every week. This is just for your use as it fits in how you’ve decided to stay consistent in studying God’s Word.
Do I have to study from the current journal?
Not at all :) although the encouragement emails, texts, and journal prompts are based on the current book of the Bible being studied, it does not depend on your study of that book of the Bible at the time.
How long can I access previous courses?
For as long as you are a member!
What is the journal planner page downloads?
The journal planner downloads are customized each month with a planning area and a new journaling prompt each week. It gives both a broad look and detailed view for you to plan your schedule; a thought to help focus our minds on God for the week; and a perspective that joins our physical day-to-day activities with our deeper purpose in living for Christ.
