A studying + sharing membership
For women who want to further study God’s Word and additionally for those who want to share it with the younger generations of girls as we all follow its light Home

I wish I could invite you all to a cozy cottage like this, in which we would gather to study the Bible together, enjoying the warmth of God's Word. And as much as it’s possible, we still want to do that!
This is for the mentors who want to study the Bible with other women or teen girls to help them better know God. This is for the friends who are getting together to read God’s Word to then live it. This is for the woman who wants encouragement to be steady in God.
So here is your invitation. Welcome to The Light Home.
LIGHT
Studying the Bible can be beautiful. And there’s so much we don’t want to miss! Which is why we created the LIGHT journals*, a way of going through a book of the Bible a little at a time to think on the beauty of what God is saying.
But where the journals guide you through Scripture (with the occasional notes pages, depending on the journal), The Light Home provides you with a matching library of videos and notes that go with each LIGHT journal to further study what God is saying.
If you’re studying individually, it’s like studying with a friend! If you’re studying to share with teen girls or other women, it’s like collaborating with another sister in Christ to highlight what to share.
And while you can go to the library anytime for whichever journal you’re studying, we’ll be going through the newest LIGHT journal in real-time, adding to the library as we go and sending you encouragement from the book we’re studying!

And so we come to the first part of The Light Home… the matching digital library!
The library
You’re studying through a LIGHT journal and you wish there was just a little more about a section or a note that can help you think through it.
We feel the same way! So we created this library that accompanies each of the LIGHT journals, with videos and notes to match.
And if you’re wanting to focus on the sharing part more, well, we have more in the library for you…
Videos: from 1-2 minute videos that go through a spread to 10-15 minute videos that go through a section or chapter, just talking through what the Bible is saying!
Notes: for each spread of the journal (each set of verses), a thought to help us ponder what God is saying and a question to apply it personally or share in a discussion!
So now that we are spending time in God’s Word, we come to the second part of The Light Home… the encouragement!
The encouragement
As we’re journeying in life, it doesn’t take much to get distracted and focus on the things of this world, of Satan.
But we want to stay focused, with the true light of God’s Word by our side, showing us the way to Him, no matter the day or season so we can truly live as His.
And so we send reminders along the journey to stand strong!
Texts: weekly encouragement sent directly to you, reminding you of what God’s Word says, taken from the current book we’re studying!

We aren’t the only ones seeking.
Sharing the Bible can be done in so many different ways. It can be in a formal teaching setting or through a coffee conversation. The only common thread is that we need to be sure what we’re sharing is coming from God, and not from us. (Which is why it’s so important that studying is the first step!)
The resources and encouragement within The Light Home can easily be used in so many different ways, including for a ladies’ class, a women’s small group, mother-daughter time, and so much more.
But for us, our hearts have always been toward the younger generations of women in Christ: the pre-teen and teen girls in the church.
It can best be described in two verses…
“Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?”
Acts 8:30-31
Since the coming of the good news, the gospel, God has worked through his people to share it with those who are seeking. This Ethiopian official had the Word of God, but God worked through Philip to explain the timeless truth to him.
For the teen girls who are in the church, for those who are subconsciously seeking, I can almost hear teen girls’ unspoken answer to our unspoken question… how can we know unless someone guides us?
We know they get “guidance” from the world around them to follow anything but God. But are we intentional on creating the best way to guide them to the only One they need?
So we created LIGHT Group (more below)…
“…keep your lamps burning, like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet…”
Luke 12:35-36
It’s a beautiful picture. We are waiting for our God, continuing the journey one day at a time, growing ever closer to him. But this is the ultimate story of good and evil and the devil is never stops trying to win our hearts along the way.
Tending to these teen girls is essential. It’s a rough but important time of their lives. But helping them discern as they train by constant practice to distinguish good from evil (Hebrews 5:14) helps them build a foundation for life.
And so we commit to being by their side, nurturing them to know the only true God through his Word and establishing the only relationship that will last into eternity.
The support
So how does it work? You’ve realized God has given you the opportunity to mentor the teen girls in your life and you may have been connecting with them already. But there is so much you want to do and you’re not sure how.
We’ve been there and, although it’s not perfect, we’re happy to say we have so much to share with you to help!
From LIGHT Group for teen girls to Radiant for pre-teen girls to LIGHT Retreats for teen girls to women, we have everything ready for you to dive in and brainstorm how you can realistically guide these girls to keep their lamps burning for God.
Videos: there is so much that we want to share with you — and so we do the best we can in these videos! It comes in three parts: Radiant, LIGHT Group, and LIGHT Retreats.
Workbook: for each video, there is an accompanying page in this workbook for you to brainstorm on. We share what's worked for us and then it’s your turn to think through what would work for you!
